The West Africa Students Union, WASU, has lauded the Executive Governor of Benue State His Excellency Dr. Samuel Ortom for Offering automatic employment to 1st Class Graduates of Benue State origin in Nigerian.
It would be recalled that, WASU, expresses it joy and happiness to have had First Class Honors bagged by students at very tough and high universities within the sub region notably the Nigerian.
In expressing joy, WASU explained that the Universities has really done well for its forward thinking, inclusive, and provisions of many support networks to help students throughout their university journeys leading to the achievement of great feats by some students in the West Africa Region.
In advocating for students’ employment, WASU, urged the Nigerian Government to secure an automatic job employment for the exceptional 1ST Class students, as well as full scholarship to study further.
Well, it seems the government of Nigeria, has heed to the plea of WASU, as the Benue State Government has offered automatic employment to Ijever Wueseter Andrew and Joshua Ojile Adache, 1st Class Students, sons of Benue State.
According to information reaching Ghana Africa News, Andrew and Joshua Ojile Adache recently excelled at University of Calabar, Benue State.
The automatic employment of Ijever Wueseter Andrew and Joshua Ojile Adache was announced today, 6th April, 2021, by Governor Samuel Ortom when he received the two young men at Benue Peoples House, Makurdi.
According to WASU, this has put Benue State on the continental threshold of history. “We equally call the Republic of the Gambia to emulate same by given Embrima L. Dampha who also bags 1st Class Degree an automatic employment”, they urged.
