Parts of the 80 km Kade to Nkawkaw highway has been completely washed away by floowater after heavy downpour fortnights ago.
Travellers using the Kade-Nkawkaw road had to walk for long hours through the high volumes of floodwater just to be able to get to thier destinations.

The floods this year have caused huge distraction to life and property with casualties recorded all over the country in recent weeks.
A total of 5 people lost thier lives in flooding in the North East Region of Ghana on 26 and 28 August, 2021 respectively.
3 deaths were reported in the Chereponi district as well as 2 others died while crossing a high current river the Bunkpurugu Nakpanduri district.
Flooding in the Northern regional capital Tamale has cause major disruption to daily activities also communities in the Bongo District have all been isolated due to the floods that left many road damaged.
The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMET) earlier last month warned that heavy rains, accompanied by strong winds, should be expected this month. would continue into the next month.
The GMET gave this warning following last month’s rains that flooded the Ghana’s capital, Accra.
