A young Ghanaian called Abraham Essilfie, who is a student at the Takoradi Technical Institute has shocked the world by building an excavator that uses water as its main source of power.
In a YouTube video, the aspiring engineer while explaining the concept behind his creation explained that he used only rubber tubes, cardboard and water as raw materials for his excavator.
According to Abraham, in the video his excavator is fully functional and needs no batteries, sensors or cables before moving.
Abraham, who is currently studying automotive engineering in school said his biggest challenge is getting the funds to widen his research and undertake more innovative projects.
