The Management of Ghana Education Service, GES, has announced that, the reopening of Senior High School, SHS form 3 students has been postponed to 5th May, 2021.
According to a press release sent to Ghana Africa News, GES pointed that, the postponement is to give form 3 students an uninterrupted instructional period till they write their final examination.
GES noted that, ordinary, form 3 students were to have reported to school yesterday, 6th April, 2021, and be in school until 28th May 2021. After that, they were then to have gone on vacation from 28th May to 29th June 2021.
Well, from the current arrangement and postponement, when the final year reports on 5th May, 2021, they will be in school until they write their WASSCE.
According to Management of GES, this is a better option where students will not break their instructional period and have their full 1,080 hours needed prior to the final examination.
Management of GES has apologized for the late communication of this new development.
