A heavy rainstorm that hit some parts of the upper east region on Wednesday 28th April 2021 has destroyed Wiage Bandema primary Schoo in the Builsa north municipality of the upper east region .
The strong wind that accompanied the rain that lasted several hours ripped-off the roof of the community primary school which had the tendency of intrupt learning and teaching in the community .
Ghanaafricanews.com can confirm that, the entire primary school block had it roofs ripped-up and damaged by the strong wind as well but no human casualty was recorded since it happened in the night nobody was at the school .
Speaking to Ghanaafricanews.com Upper east regional Correspondent Edmond Kwaching Agwaazeh on the incident, the assembly member of the area, Hon James Anamuining appealed to NADMO , Ghana Education Service, Builsa north municipality assembly and other organizations to come to the aid of the school before the rain season.
‘I am appealing to the Municipal Assembly, Member of Parliament Hon James Agalga and other stakeholders to come to the aid of the school before the rain season.
Hon James Anamuining also added that the school need to be done before the reopen primary schools .
