Mr Gabby Otchere-Darko, a member of the ruling New Patriotic Party has endorse for a presidential candidate the National Democratic Congress(NDC) Member of Parliament for the Ningo Prampam Constituency, Mr Samuel Nartey George.
According to him, the MP is young, bold, articulate, driven and extremely popular.
In a twitter post, Mr Otchere-Darko said if politics was about popularity then the MP was an incredible choice for the party come 2024.
“If politics is all about populism & popularity then I have fantastic news for the NDC: they have found their next presidential candidate & he is the MP for Ningo Prampram #SamGeorge. Young, articulate, driven, bold, & extremely popular. The main sponsor of the anti-LBGTQI Bill,” his post reads.

Sam Nartey George
Mr Nartey George, a two time MP and currently a lead advocate of Ghana’s anti gay bill has created a niche for himself as far as popularity is concern.
The vocal MP is very popular on social media, in his party and the country.
On social media, he’s known for taken on anybody who criss-cross his path inappropriately.
Not long ago, he took on everybody on twitter about his role as a member of MP.
Also the MP clashed with British Labour Party politician, Seb Dance, Ghanaian songstress, Sister Derby, Comedian Kwodwo Sheldon and others over Ghana’s LGBTQ+ bill.
Sam George as affectionately called is very vocal in parliament, an ardent critics of government policies and has so far represented his constituent and Ghana creditably well.
Many have ticked him to go far in politics if he continues in the path he had chosen.
