Popular actor, Kofi Adu also known as Agya Koo has come out to deny reports that he has advised Ghanaians to send their children to USA because Ghana is no longer safe.
Agya Koo was reported to have spoken against the recent spike of murder and kidnap cases in the country earlier on Agyenkwa FM.
He allegedly advised well to do Ghanaians to send their children out of the country due to the high rate of crime and insecurity.
However, Agya Koo has come out vehemently to oppose the said mentioned story making rounds. The actor said it hurts when people try to tarnish your hard earned reputation with false accusations.
“It hurts when people try to ruin your reputation, they can use just a single day to bring you down. Some online platforms are trying to wrongly accuse me of something I didn’t say.
“In fact, I can never say that. They claim I have issued a strong warning to parents to send their children abroad. Those circulating the news did not call me to confirm the story.
“I never said that, as we know, they couldn’t even provide a voice or a video of me saying that. Just because I am famous and also close to the NPP, they want to say this to disgrace the party but I want to let them know that this cannot shame the party,” Agya Koo is quoted to have said.
Agya Koo is a staunch supporter of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), who doesn’t shy away from supporting President Nana Addo come rain or shine.
