The Ministry of Finance, of the Republic of Ghana, has denied allegations that, the government of Ghana, has suspended all recruitment into state security agencies.
It would be recalled that, there was a letter circulating in the media space, purportedly signed by the Finance Ministry, which indicated that, President Akufo-Addo, through the Ministry of Finance placed a hold on recruitment in the State Security Institutions.
In a press release sent to Ghana Africa News, signed by the Public Relations Unit of the Finance Ministry, it was pointed that, the said letter in circulation is fake and should be disregarded.
According to Ministry of Finance, the ministry is focused on delivering on its mandate through the 2021 budget to ensure a quick economic recovery and structural economic transformation.
Finally, the Ministry entreated Ghanaians to disregard the letter, stating that, it is an attempt by unscrupulous persons to create mischief.
