The ECOWAS High Level Mission has arrived in Guinea Conakry led by H.E Mrs. Shirley Ayorkor Botchway, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ghana and President of the Council of Ministers of ECOWAS.

This mission, according to ECOWAS, is a fact finding mission and to assess the situation in Guinea after the last Sunday Coup and to meet Ex-president Alpha Condé.
Meanwhile the African Union has announced its suspension of the Republic of Guinea from the Pan-African body and her participation in the decision making of the body.
This was in tweet today line with the Last Sundays coup that saw the overthrow and detention of President Alpha Conde.
This also is coming After ECOWAS did same earlier this week.
It should be noted that President Alpha Conde exhausted his constitutional term limits but tried to find his way in to the last elections which saw his re-election.
Some people are suggesting that bodies like these should also take active decisions in frowning at constitutional coups so as to serve Africa from this delima.
