Tonight, two of Europe’s finest teams clash in what’s going to be a true battle of giants who have had dominance locally but continue to chase a an elusive European Glory! Citizens from England touch down in Paris for a battle with Les Parisien!
The boy’s from Les Parisien obviously are world famous for what powerful talents they boast of in the attacking department of the game!
Messi Neymar and Mbappe are talents capable of ripping apart any defense individually on a good day or even more ludicrously, bad days as well! Six time Ballon D’Or winner Lionel Messi is yet to blaze the trail in the French capital after a really shock move from Barcelona but hey, anyone is intelligent enough to know better than writing Messi off on any given day! Tonight, the telepathy between the famed three would be very integral to Pochettino’s chances of getting one over Guardiola who wouldn’t be oblivious to the aforestated!
WEAKNESSS – If there’s anything we know about this PSG team, it is a lack of cohesion in he middle and an absence of discipline in the defence! Unfortunately for PSG, they come up against a side which draws strength from the middle of the field and a coach whose very blueprint is firmly imprinted in midfield and of course Pochettino would all too well know this!
The Spaniard is known for holding on to the ball and frustrating his opponents out of position with very intricate passes! This is a coach who from what we’ve seen over the years and as recent as this past weekend, has an ambiguous style of moving the ball into the net. His unpredictability makes it hard to beat him, little wonder he is often referred to as the best coach of his generation and his false nine system remains a migraine for opponents!
WEAKNESS – Since time immemorial at Barcelona, Guardiola mostly struggles against teams with very quick attackers! Tonight, he must deal with that situation as he would be coming up against guys with lightening speed especially Mbappe! We don’t know how Pochettino intends lining up for tonight’s battle but if our prediction is anything to go by, he would start in a a 4-2-3-1 set up with Messi, Neymar, Di Maria & Mbappe playing the spearhead.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is truly one for the books!
