Multiple award winning music legend, Celine Dion has left fans over the world a lot to think about after sharing updates on her health.
According to her, she has been dealing with a rare kind of disease known as stiff person syndrome.
According to www.ninds.nih.gov “stiff-person syndrome (SPS) is a rare, progressive neurological disorder. Symptoms may include stiff muscles in the trunk (torso), arms, and legs; and greater sensitivity to noise, touch, and emotional distress, which can set off muscle spasms”.
The sad news has been trending on Twitter with many fans having their own piece of the puzzle.
“Celine Dion has been diagnosed with a neurological disorder that ultimately leaves sufferers as human statues as it progressively locks the body into rigid positions, leaving people unable to walk or talk. This is so sad” @Virgosgrooviest wrote.
“Celine Dion battled infertility for 7 years. She lost her husband then her brother to cancer in the same month. She overcame these tragedies only to be diagnosed with stiff person syndrome, an incurable disease that affects one in a million people. No one should suffer this much”
