Ghanaian journalist, Bridget Otoo has reportedly been robbed by armed men at her shop.
The robbers allegedly made away with all the cash from they shop after they fired indiscriminately to keep people away.
The outspoken Bridget Otoo confirmed the incident on her Twitter page giving details as to whatreally happened
“Two guys on a bike fired two warning shots and pulled the gun on my shop attendant and took the morning’s cash sales of 500 cedis. She’s safe but visibly shaken. I don’t know what I would have told her parents if sth had happened to her.”
Recent increase in daylight robberies have become a great worry for citizens who are demanding that the police step up thier game in combating crime.
If you will recall, videos of daylight robbery has have been circulated on various media platforms lately which shows how these gun wielding criminals traumatised thier victims after they’ve robbed them of thier cash.
Meanwhile, the Ghana Police Service are on the heels of a gang of armed robbers terrorizing residents of Accra and it environs.
