With guys like GG Allin; I’m pretty sure I am not alone in the thinking of periodically seeing real-life characters and their story’s as illusions because of how unthinkable & to a large extent, what influences the way they act!
Punk rock’s ultimate wild man, GG Allin liked to spray blood onto his fans and poop onstage — then eat it. He even regularly threatened to kill himself during his shows. In fact, many people were buying tickets just to see if he would actually end his own life right there in front of the crowd.
Ultimately, Allin didn’t kill himself onstage — but his last performance on June 27, 1993 was still a one-of-a-kind spectacle. After the show got cut short, Allin started a brutal riot just outside the venue before escaping to a friend’s home to do heroin. The 36-year-old was found dead the next morning of an overdose, still reeking of blood and feces from the night before. And because he’d left strict instructions to not wash his corpse after he died, Allin was still covered in bodily fluids for his own funeral.
