Veteran Ghanaian actor William Addo popularly known as ‘Akpatse’ of the good old GTV Thursday Theatre fame has said it has become difficult for him to feed and buy medication.
Akpatse has been blind for five years now and according to him, his situation has made him dependant on people for survival.
In an exclusive Citi TV report, titled “Untold Stories of Veteran Actors“, the ace filmmaker who now lives in Tefle in the Volta Region appealed for support to start a corn mill business locally known as ‘nika-nika’.
According to Akpatse, owning a corn mill business will improve his financial situation as he no longer needs to depend on people for daily survival and payment of medical bills.
Akpatse was a notable face on the screens from the 1990s straight through 2000s starring in numerous films.
